Raw Power
Make no mistake, the 2025 Kia EV6 has the kind of raw power you’d expect from a high performance engine. The entry level model, the Wind RWD, starts at 225 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. The Land AWD model ramps this up to 320 horsepower and 446 lb.-ft. of ground gripping torque, for incredible acceleration. But, if you want to drive like you’re at the racetrack, the GT AWD model blows the other two away with 576 horsepower, and 545 lb.-ft. of instant electric torque.
Long Distance Driving
EV battery technology keeps improving by leaps and bounds, and the 2025 Kia EV6 gets incredible range, especially on the Wind RWD. It has an estimated maximum electric driving range of 513 km. If that won’t quite get you to your destination, the EV6 can be recharged from 10% to 80% in less than 18 minutes using a high-speed 800V multi-charging system.
Beat the Cold
A lot of Canadians have concerns about driving EVs because of the winter. Cold weather can reduce your overall driving range by increasing the drain on a vehicle’s battery. Thankfully, Kia has compensated for that with available cold-busting options in the 2025 EV6. The available eco-friendly heat pump recycles the heat generated by the vehicle’s electronic components, channeling it to the battery-pack to keep the temperature optimized. This helps preserve the range of the vehicle even during the coldest times of the year.
