Affordable Entry 

Kia will introduce the all-new 2027 Kia EV5, an electric SUV designed for the Canadian market, in 2026. It will feature nine configurations across five different trim levels. The base trim, the Light FWD, is slated to have a starting price of $43,495. It’s scheduled to be available in Canada in Q4 2026. Kia has slated the SUV as an affordable and practical option for Canadian drivers who want to balance affordability, functionality, and environmental sustainability.

Intelligent Design

The 2027 Kia EV5 will feature a spacious cabin complete with refined touches. The interior has the capacity to fit up to five passengers thanks to a layout that maximizes space and offers plenty of shoulder room and legroom. The steering column mounted shifter can free up console space, and the rear is versatile for storage needs, thanks to the flat-folding rear seats and a front trunk.

Versatile Configurations 

Pick from two different configurations and the option between front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive systems to match your driving needs. You can select the Standard Range option, which features a 60.3-kWh battery perfect for daily performance. Or go with the Long Range option and its 81.4-kWh battery. The 2027 Kia EV5 will also be equipped with a North American Charging Standard (NACS) port, allowing the SUV to access 61 percent more DC fast charging stations across Canada.
