Step #1: Examine Driving Habits

Searching for your first EV is exciting, but it’s important to take some time to do research to determine your needs. Consider what your daily routine looks like and how far you travel. Step #3: Determine a Budget and Check for Incentives

Not only will you have to pay to purchase the vehicle, but you might have extra costs associated with setting up an appropriate charging situation. Depending on the EV you select, you might qualify for the Government of Canada’s Electric Vehicle Affordability Program (EVAP), which provides up to $5,000 in rebates on new battery electric vehicles (BEV).
