No Engine Maintenance

EVs don’t have engines that you’ll see in typical gas-powered vehicles, allowing you to spend zero dollars on the maintenance costs associated with them. You won’t be required to get an oil change every couple of months. There also won’t be any spark plugs that need to be changed.

Longer Lasting Brakes

The maintenance that EVs do require isn’t as frequent and is typically easier to complete than gas-powered vehicles. This includes brake services. Thanks to regenerative braking, common on EVs, there’s less wear and tear on brake pads and other components compared to those without it. This is because regenerative braking requires the motor to do a majority of the work.
