Community Sponsorship Application
Kia Victoria – Supporting Southern Vancouver Island & the Gulf Islands
At Kia Victoria, giving back is part of who we are.
Over the years, we’ve been proud to support local charities, youth sports teams/clubs, and community organizations that make a real difference here in Southern Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. As our community support has grown, so have the number of requests we receive.
To ensure we can give thoughtfully, fairly, and sustainably, we’ve formalized our community sponsorship process.
Our goal is to support as many local organizations as possible, and our sponsorship amounts will reflect that.
Our Giving Focus
We prioritize organizations and initiatives that support:
- Children and families
- Youth sports/activities for local kids
- Individuals experiencing homelessness/poverty
- Hyper-local, grassroots organizations serving Southern Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands
We especially value organizations doing direct, hands-on work in our immediate community.
While we respect the work of large national and international charities, our focus is on supporting organizations that create a unique and measurable impact right here at home.
Sponsorship Support
We consider a variety of community requests, including:
- Youth clubs/sports teams
- Student programs
- Local fundraisers and community events
- One-time charitable initiatives
- Silent auctions and fundraising raffles
Because we aim to support many organizations each year, we typically provide sponsorship amounts that allow us to make as many contributions as we can.
Silent Auction & In-Kind Donation
If you are holding a silent auction or raffle fundraising event, one of our most popular community donations is our Kia Victoria Full Detail Package, with a retail value of ~$500. Learn more about our detailing packages here: https://www.kiavictoria.ca/car-detailing/
This package is consistently a top-performing silent auction item and often raises more than its retail value for local causes.
How Our Sponsorship Selection Works
Our Community Sponsorship Application is open year-round. We review applications twice per year.
To be considered for a particular intake, your application must be submitted by one of the deadlines below.
Spring Intake
Deadline: March 15
Successful applicants contacted by: April 1
Fall Intake
Deadline: September 15
Successful applicants contacted by: October 1
Applications received after a deadline will automatically be considered for the next intake period.
Due to the volume of requests we receive, we are not able to respond individually to every application.
Major Community Partnerships
Our major annual community partnerships (such as long-term charitable collaborations) are selected separately through ongoing relationships.

Eligibility Guidelines
To be considered, applicants must:
- Be located in Southern Vancouver Island or the Gulf Islands
- Align with our community giving focus
- Submit an application through the form
We are typically unable to support:
- Individual fundraising campaigns
- Political or religious organizations
- For-profit businesses
