Kia EV6 GT and the Kia EV6 GT-Line Land Package One Zero to Sixty Test

Print Post

We took the Kia EV6 GT and the Kia EV6 GT-Line Land Package One to Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit to see what these EV engines could do. We’ve heard a ton about their 0-60 capabilities, but it’s another thing altogether to experience it.

First up was the white EV6 gt, which boasts a 10 out of 10 from Car and Driver, a range of 332 kms, 576 horsepower and 545 pounds per feet of torque, coming from two motors – one in the front and one in the back putting power down to all four 21-inch alloys wheels.

Next up was the red EV6 gt line package 1. Not to be confused with the white GT. The main difference being an electronic limited-slip differential, firmer chassis tuning, an adaptive suspension, and stouter brakes for the white GT EV, and longer range and a lower price tag for the red GT line EV. It has 320 horsepower and 446 pounds per feet of torque, and estimated driving range of 454 kms. It also boasts a 10 out of 10 from Car and Driver and is their top choice of EV6 models. The gt line is still a rocket, but lacks the sport suspension, sport braking system, and sport bucket seats. But don’t let that fool you. This car can fly.

Let’s hit that track.
